Frequently asked questions
What is Kombucha?
Kombucha is a fermented tea.
Does your kombucha contain alcohol?
Auspicious Brew will be licensed as an alcoholic beverage because through the natural process of fermentation kombucha exceeds the limit of 0.5% ABV. Many companies on the market are pasteurizing their kombucha to control its fermentation, killing off beneficial constituents so that it can be more easily distributed as a non-alcoholic beverage. Others dilute their kombucha to lower its ABV.
How do you flavor Auspicious Brew?
The ingredients we use are influenced largely by the season we're brewing in. We are most inspired by what's available locally and in-season, so what we brew changes throughout the year.
Where can I find Auspicious Brew?
We are working hard to build our brewery in the Seacoast, NH area. Stay tuned to find out where we land and when we open! If you'd like to support us in this effort, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Why should I drink kombucha?
We are not here to prescribe anything or make extravagant health claims.
